About The Parishes
The website for the parishes of Our Lady and St. Werburgh and Our Blessed Lady and St. John the Baptist provides information about both parishes including the history of each parish, and a pictures from parish events. The printed weekly newsletter is published on the website for parishioners to download. Additionally news and forthcoming events are published weekly.
The Website Brief
The aim of the website was to build an independent website for the parish in addition to the having the parish listed on the diocesan website. The website was to provide information about both the parishes including the histories, parish events and allow the newsletter to the published on the website and available for download.
The website and features
The website features a layout using HTML5 and the colours of the Our Lady and St Werburgh school uniform, clear and intuitive navigation and pages for:
- the history of each parish
- Mass times
- events at the parishes
- the parish newsletter which is downloadable in PDF
- A MailChimp subscription box for parishioners to receive the newsletter via email.
Additionally, the website has a rolling blog page and picture galleries from events at both the parishes.
